Wattsmith is designed to work entirely on your device. We built it so you never have to create an account or hand over personal information. This policy explains, plainly, what that means.
Nothing. Wattsmith does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal information. There are no accounts, no logins, and no user profiles.
Wattsmith contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking software. We do not monitor how you use the app, and we have no servers that receive your activity.
Your build progress, saved measurements, shopping list, inventory, and settings are stored only on your device. If you delete the app, that information is removed with it.
The optional AI assistant runs entirely on your device. Anything you type to it, and its responses, stay on your device and are never sent to us or any third party. If you choose to download an on-device model, the model files are fetched directly from the model host (Hugging Face) as an ordinary download — no personal information is included in that request.
The optional one-time "Wattsmith Pro" purchase is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Apple's handling of that transaction is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Wattsmith does not collect information from anyone, including children. Because some builds involve tools, heat, or wiring, we recommend that younger makers work with an adult.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
