SnapSpend is built to be private. It works entirely on your iPhone or iPad. We do not run servers, we do not have accounts, and we never collect, see, or transmit your financial data.
Nothing. SnapSpend has no analytics, no tracking, no advertising identifiers, and no user accounts. We do not collect personal information of any kind.
Your transactions, categories, merchants, budgets, and any receipt or statement images you scan are stored only on your device. Source images are saved with iOS file protection (encrypted at rest) and can be deleted at any time in Settings. None of this is sent to us or to any third party.
When you scan a receipt or pick a screenshot, the image is processed on-device to read the amount, date, and merchant. Images are not uploaded anywhere.
If you turn on iCloud Sync, your data is synced privately through your own iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit, so it can appear on your other devices. This stays within your personal Apple account — we have no access to it and operate no servers in between. You can turn sync off at any time.
SnapSpend Pro is a one-time in-app purchase processed by Apple. Apple handles the payment; we never receive your payment details. We only learn whether the purchase is active so we can unlock features.
SnapSpend is rated 4+ and does not collect any data, including from children.
