Pool Monitor (“the app”) is a read-only monitoring tool for cryptocurrency mining pools. This policy explains what the app does with your information.
Pool Monitor does not collect, sell, or share your personal data. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. Everything the app stores stays on your device (and, if you enable it, your private iCloud).
The app sends your API key / addresses only to the mining pools you choose, to retrieve your own stats: Mining-Dutch (mining-dutch.nl), CKPool (*.ckpool.org), and public-pool.io. It also fetches public, non-personal market data for context: coin prices from CoinGecko (api.coingecko.com) and Bitcoin network difficulty from blockchain.info. No data is sent to the app’s developer.
The app uses local notifications (generated on your device) for offline miners, found blocks, and payouts. These are not push notifications and do not involve any server.
Remove your API key/addresses in Settings, or delete the app, to erase all stored data from the device. iCloud copies are removed via your iCloud account.
The app is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.
Any updates to this policy will be posted at this URL with a new date.
