Electroute uses your location to show where you are, to plan and navigate routes (including turn-by-turn guidance), and to keep guidance running on CarPlay while your phone is locked (which requires background location). Your location is processed on your device — it is not sent to us or any third party, and it is not stored off your device.
When you download an offline region, your device fetches map, routing, charger, and place data files from Electroute's content servers. As with any internet request, our hosting provider may process your IP address and the requested region file name to deliver the download. We do not use this to identify you or build a profile, and we do not link it to your location or trips.
These are saved locally on your iPhone and removed when you delete the app (or, where offered, from within the app):
If you email us, we receive what you choose to send — your message, your email address, and any details you include such as the app version — and use it only to respond and improve the app. Please don't include sensitive information you don't want to share.
Electroute is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
