This policy explains what information the Cascadoku app (“the app,” “we,” “our”) handles, and how. Cascadoku is a single-player and head-to-head Sudoku game for iPhone. We designed it to collect as little as possible.
The app saves your game progress locally on your iPhone using standard iOS storage. This includes your best scores, daily streak, lifetime points, unlocked cosmetics, and your settings (sound, music, vibration, and similar). This data stays on your device and is removed if you delete the app. We cannot see it.
If you choose to sign in to Game Center and use leaderboards or online multiplayer, that feature is operated by Apple. When you submit a score to a leaderboard or play a live online duel, Apple processes your Game Center player identifier, your display name or nickname, and the relevant gameplay data (such as your score and the shared puzzle) in order to match you with an opponent and rank scores. This exchange happens through Apple’s Game Center service, not through any server we operate, and is governed by Apple’s privacy policy. Online multiplayer in Cascadoku has no chat, messaging, or free-text communication between players. Game Center is optional — the single-player game works without it.
Cascadoku is free to play. Unlocking multiplayer (Duel and live Online play) is a one-time in-app purchase. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive or store your payment card details; Apple handles the transaction and tells the app only whether the unlock is active. Restoring a previous purchase also goes through Apple using your Apple Account.
Cascadoku does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app itself gathers no personal data. Any use of Game Center by minors is subject to Apple’s Family Sharing and Game Center controls.
We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, location, photos, browsing history, or device advertising identifier. We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
The only third party involved is Apple, through Game Center and the App Store, as described above. Their handling of your information is covered by the Apple Privacy Policy.
If we update this policy, we will change the effective date above and post the revised version at this page. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
